New Industries & Opportunities
Recent laws (October 2017) have approved zoning, retail licenses, and industry licenses for Cannibis production within the area, thereby making this one of the fastest growing regions in Northern California. |
NORTHERN CALIFORNIAOur next project will include a mixed use development that includes a new industrial park, hotel and local retail options that will take advantage of new legislation, tax opportunities and a robust regional economy.
This hotel project is close to nature preserves, destination travel locations and will anchor a high traffic corridor that will serve the local community as well as weekend travelers and those moving to the area. We are excited to announce additional information coming soon. |
SF BAY AREAWe are excited to be in the planning and permit process with this new development.
This hotel is in a densely populated area within the San Francisco Bay, with high traffic and tourist centers (a downtown location) within walking distance. |

HOLIDAY INNPK’s first hotel job was at a Holiday Inn, working initially in housekeeping and learning how to handle maintenance duties. Ultimately he moved up to night clerk and now, after ten years his determination paid off.
Bought at the height of the recession, he combined the wealth of his knowledge and investor contacts with unrelenting grit to pull together a deal that delivered his very own Holiday Inn. |

Just a block away from Crown Beach, overlooking the bustling Alameda waterfront is the Coral Reef Inn & Suites, the hotel that became PK’s stepping stone into the world of hotel management and entrepreneurship.

CORAL REEF INNWorking nights at a San Francisco Holiday Inn, the dream of hotel ownership was elusive, but something he had always thought about. The challenge increased when the realization set in, that this hotel wasn't even for sale. Persistence and repeated offers to an unamused, and somewhat irate owner finally paid off. After a year, he signed papers and the real work began.
He was thrown headlong into a self-made, crash-course MBA, learning on his own and with help from his angel investors. He oversaw daily operations, balanced labor costs, handled investor’s money as his own, and created lasting relationships with his employees and the community. An experience he hopes to share with young entrepreneurs and the next generation of hoteliers. |
WASHINGTON INNA historic landmark in downtown Oakland with old world charm and European decor, the Washington Inn was an unexpected addition to PK’s portfolio. Owned by a “family of angels” (as he fondly refers to them), the hotel was in arrears from the devastating 2008 recession, so he was forced to come up with an alternative financing option that would work for everyone.
He devised a payment plan with the county and bank, that resulted in a win-win situation for the owners and investors he brought in. Once the business was solvent again, he offered it back to the family. They declined, asking him to “pay it forward” instead. |
“I learned how to be kind, how to be vulnerable, how to grow in generosity, how to be wise about my investments, and how to take care of those around me because of this family,” says PK. “Helping them out has been a blessing to me.” |

PALA MESA RESORTA large part of understanding the workings of how the hospitality industry works, is working as part of the management team and being hands on taking care of the day to day activities.
The Pala Mesa Resort has 150 rooms, a beautiful golf course with amazing wedding venues, restaurants and more. PK was given the opportunity to take over the management duties, run the resort and make it grow. Taking the reins of an operation this expansive was new for PK and he credits his partner and mentor in trusting him to make it work. He cannot thank him enough for making it possible. |
